Planning permission was granted at the site for a golf course enhancement scheme with the use of imported inert material to form mounds, screening between certain golf holes, improved safety and the raising of certain tees and greens.
Site Description:
Grassmoor hosts an 18 hole well-established course that follows a traditional and gentle parkland layout which is challenging, whilst not being intimidating. With its many water features, placement of shot is all important to reach our excellent putting surfaces.
Grassmoor Driving Range extends 230 metres long (250 yards) and 165 metres wide (180 yards). The facility offers 26 floodlit driving range bays in total.
